When I asked what his words were for you, this was his reply:
"Know that you are loved infinitely, unconditionally and forever. Enter deep into that thought and love."
Meditate With Brother Camillus Chavez, FSC
This is God’s project to help other people meditate and learn to use meditation for prayer, and to develop themselves. We envision it going to all our LaSallian schools, and for the faculty staff and students, and that they also may learn to share this with their family and friends, and so the Schools of the Brothers may begin to spread this beautiful practice throughout the world. Saint LaSalle said the most important religious exercise of the Brothers is to meditate daily.

Brother Camillus guides you to bless your body for healing in this early recording. This version, from 2007, has not been on the site before due to the difficulties of editing out ambient noises. But it was a powerful workshop and this meditation is wonderful . You will hear the bells of Saint Marys in the background at times. There is a lot of noise from the clip-on microphone Brother was wearing that day. However, the energy of the meditation still comes through. This is the Christian and specifically Lasallian heritage - in the Rule of the Brothers the most important exercise of the day is interior prayer..." |
